Athletic Performance IV — Recover Faster. Train Harder.
Your body can only repair as fast as it has the raw materials to work with. After a hard session, a race, or a tournament, your B vitamins are depleted, your magnesium is low, your amino acid stores are running on fumes, and your muscles are full of oxidative damage. The Athletic Performance IV delivers everything your body needs to recover at the cellular level — so your next session starts where this one left off, not from a deficit.
What’s in the bag:
• B Vitamins (B-complex + B12) • Vitamin C • Glutathione • Zinc • Magnesium • Amino Blend • 1 Liter IV Fluids
Treatment time: 30–45 minutes

What Hard Training Actually Costs Your Body
You know the surface-level damage — sore muscles, fatigue, joint stiffness. Here’s what’s happening underneath:
Microtrauma requires amino acids to repair
Resistance training and endurance exercise cause controlled damage to muscle fibers. Your body repairs this damage (and makes the muscle stronger) using amino acids from your diet and existing stores. During heavy training blocks, demand outpaces supply. The amino blend in this IV provides the building blocks your muscles need to rebuild without waiting for your next meal to be digested and absorbed.
Oxidative stress depletes your antioxidants
Intense exercise produces massive amounts of reactive oxygen species (free radicals). Your body neutralizes these with glutathione, vitamin C, and other antioxidants — but during heavy training, you burn through these stores faster than you can replace them orally. Accumulated oxidative damage slows recovery and increases injury risk.
Sweat doesn’t just cost you water
You lose magnesium, zinc, sodium, and other electrolytes through sweat. Magnesium loss causes muscle cramps and poor sleep quality. Zinc loss impairs immune function and protein synthesis. An hour of intense exercise in heat can deplete these minerals faster than any post-workout shake can restore them.
B vitamins fuel the energy you just burned
Your body used B vitamins to produce the ATP that powered your workout. They’re water-soluble and excreted through sweat and urine. After a hard session, your B vitamin levels are measurably lower. Replenishing them via IV means your cells can start producing energy again immediately, not after days of dietary restoration.
Every Ingredient Mapped to Recovery
| Ingredient | Athletic Function | Why Athletes Need IV |
|---|---|---|
| Amino Blend | Muscle protein synthesis, tissue repair, neurotransmitter production for focus and motivation. Provides branched-chain and essential amino acids your body can’t manufacture. | Oral aminos compete for gut absorption and take hours. IV delivers them to muscle tissue within minutes. |
| Glutathione | Neutralizes exercise-induced free radicals. Protects mitochondria from oxidative damage. Supports faster recovery between sessions. | Destroyed by stomach acid. IV is the only way to deliver it at therapeutic levels. |
| Magnesium | Prevents cramps, supports sleep quality (when recovery happens), regulates muscle contraction and relaxation, required for 300+ enzymatic reactions. | Lost heavily through sweat. Oral magnesium causes GI distress. IV restores levels without stomach issues. |
| Vitamin C | Collagen synthesis for tendon, ligament, and cartilage repair. Carnitine production for fat oxidation during endurance work. Immune protection during high-volume training blocks. | Athletes in heavy training are immunosuppressed. Therapeutic IV doses support immune function that oral can’t match. |
| B Vitamins | ATP production, red blood cell formation (oxygen transport), nerve function, glucose metabolism. | Water-soluble and lost through sweat. IV replenishment is immediate. |
| Zinc | Protein synthesis, testosterone support, immune function, wound healing. | Heavy training depletes zinc. Oral zinc causes nausea on an empty stomach. IV avoids this. |
| IV Fluids (1L) | Replaces fluid lost to sweat, restores blood volume for oxygen delivery, supports kidney clearance of metabolic waste. | A full liter absorbs in 30–45 minutes vs. 1–2 hours orally. |
Pre-Event or Post-Event?
- Pre-event (12–24 hours before): Start fully loaded. Top off your hydration, electrolytes, and vitamin stores so your body has everything it needs during performance. Popular before marathons, triathlons, tournaments, and race weekends. Don’t book within 2 hours of your event — give your body time to distribute the nutrients.
- Post-event (within 2–4 hours): Accelerate recovery. Replace everything you burned during competition. Reduce DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) severity. Get your body into repair mode faster. Popular after race day, tournament weekends, and particularly brutal training sessions.
- During training blocks: Weekly or bi-weekly treatments during high-volume phases (marathon training, fight camp, tournament season). Keeps your nutrient stores topped off so recovery doesn’t become the bottleneck in your training.
How It Compares
| Package | Price | Key Difference | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Energy Boost IV | $210 | B vitamins + C + amino blend. No glutathione, zinc, or magnesium. | Mental energy and focus. Less comprehensive for physical recovery. |
| Myers Cocktail | $210 | B vitamins + C + glutathione + zinc + magnesium. No amino blend. | General wellness. Covers vitamins but misses muscle repair. |
| Athletic Performance | $235 | Everything in the Myers PLUS amino blend. | Athletes. Best recovery-per-dollar package. |
| Platinum IV | $405 | Higher doses of everything + taurine. | Serious athletes wanting max doses + neuroprotection. |
The Athletic Performance IV at $235 is the sweet spot. It’s only $25 more than the Myers Cocktail but adds the amino acid blend — the single most important ingredient for muscle repair and recovery. If you want higher doses across the board plus taurine, the Platinum at $405 is the premium upgrade.
Athlete-Specific Add-Ons
| Add-On | When Athletes Add It |
|---|---|
| Taurine | Muscle endurance, anti-inflammatory, cellular hydration. The #1 add-on for endurance athletes. Already included in the Platinum. |
| NAD+ | Athletes 35+ who want mitochondrial support for energy and recovery. Addresses age-related decline in cellular energy production. |
| Toradol | Post-race or post-competition when pain and inflammation are significant. Prescription-strength anti-inflammatory. NP approved. |
| B12 MIC | Athletes in a cutting or weight management phase. Supports fat metabolism alongside training. |
| Extra Glutathione | After particularly high-oxidative-stress events (ultra-endurance, extreme heat, back-to-back competition days). |

FAQ's
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this WADA/USADA compliant?
The ingredients in the Athletic Performance IV (vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and IV fluids) are not on any prohibited substances list. However, if you are a drug-tested athlete under WADA, USADA, or any other anti-doping authority, you should be aware that IV infusions over 100mL per 12-hour period are prohibited in-competition and out-of-competition unless a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) has been granted. Our 1-liter IV exceeds this threshold. Please consult your sport’s anti-doping authority before booking if you are subject to drug testing.
When should I get the IV — before or after my event?
Both work. Pre-event (12–24 hours before) ensures you start fully loaded. Post-event (within 2–4 hours) accelerates recovery. During heavy training blocks, some athletes book weekly. Your nurse can help determine the best timing for your specific event and training schedule.
How is this different from a standard Myers Cocktail?
The Athletic Performance IV includes everything in the Myers Cocktail plus an amino acid blend — the most important ingredient for muscle protein synthesis and tissue repair after training. For $25 more than the Myers ($235 vs $210), you get the amino acids that directly support what athletes need most: faster, more complete recovery.
Can my whole team get treated?
Yes. We handle group bookings for running clubs, CrossFit boxes, teams, and event groups. We can treat multiple athletes at the same location during the same visit. Call or text (833) 688-1299 to arrange group bookings.
How quickly will I feel the effects?
Hydration effects are immediate. Most athletes report reduced soreness and improved energy within 2–4 hours. The amino acids and vitamins continue supporting recovery over the following 24–48 hours. Athletes who get treated immediately post-race typically report significantly less DOMS the next day compared to untreated recovery.
Do you accept insurance?
IV therapy is not covered by insurance. We accept HSA/FSA cards, cash, and all major credit cards. $235 covers everything.
